Bafoussam: Faithful As Ambassadors Of Peace

Muslim faithful in Bafoussam have again been told to copy the example of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) who for his unwavering faith and love for Allah, accepted to sacrifice his son Ismael, as enough indication of his love for Allah, but was eventually stopped by Allah’s rethinking truth. He said Muslim world over celebrated Ibrahim’s obedience and discipline to Allah that has significantly liberalized the Muslim communities around the world. The appeal was made by the Imam of the Bafoussam central Mosque, Alhadji Arouna Abdoulaye, while chairing prayers in Bafoussam, on,27, May,2026, to mark the feast of the ram (Tabaski), also known as Eid-al Adha. He said the action of Prophet Ibrahim, is a reminder to Muslim faithful, that Allah must be understood and not barely believed upon. Imam Arouna Abdoulaye said the action of Prophet Ibrahim has remained the most precious religious event in the Muslim calendar.
