Buea: Promoted Military Personnel Receive Epaulets

The event on July 1, 2026, at the headquarters of the 21st Motorised Infantry Brigade was presided over by the Commander, Colonel Enye’e Meka Manuel.

Military personnel recently promoted to various ranks in the Cameroon Defence and Security Forces have officially received their new epaulets during a ceremony held in Buea. The promotion exercise followed a presidential decree and a ministerial decision. A total of eight personnel drawn from different branches of the defence and security forces were decorated with their new ranks in recognition of their dedication and service to the nation. The beneficiaries included officers, non-commissioned officers, gendarmes and soldiers of the rank and file. On an individual basis, Colonel Enye’e Meka Manuel congratulated each of the newly promoted personnel and urged them to see their promotion as a call to greater responsibility and professionalism, encouraging them to remain committed to defending the country’s territorial integrity and serving the nation with loyalty.
