 Utmost sacrifice for the nation by 2nd Class Soldier, Abe Livinus Meme saluted on his last journey to ancestral land, Mbande, Donga Mantung Division

 

Military honours, a funeral eulogy and words of encouragement to the bereaved family summed up the event that paid tributes to the fallen, private 2nd class soldier, Abe Livinus Meme in Bamenda on 14th April, 2017. North West Governor, Adolphe Lele Lafriique  presided the event at the 22nd motorized infantry brigade during which an eulogy revealed that 21-year-old, Abe Livinus Meme died after suffering bullet wounds during a routine pedestrian patrol at Gossi, Mayo Tsanaga Division, Far North region on March 14th, 2017.
It emerged from the event that he was at the service of the nation against the Boko Haram sect as a member of the 5th light intervention unit, South BIR sector, Alpha operation. Col. Evindi Felix Lapaix commanded the troops when colleague soldiers and mourners were told that Abe Livinus Meme, the illustrious son of Ako Sub Division was barely three years, two months and 14 days in the army when the killer bullet sent him to the world beyond.
