Lionesses Making Final Adjustments

T he Coordinator of the senior women’s national team of Cameroon, Dimitri Lipoff has stated the team is making final adjustments to fine-tune its game plan for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). The Coordinator was speaking in an in­ terview posted on the official Face­ book page of the Indomitable Lio­ nesses of Cameroon. The competition which begins on July 26, 2026 is al­ ready at the corner and such final adjustments are necessary. The Indomitable Lionesses concluded the first week of their acclimatisation camp in Casablanca on Sunday, July 19, 2026. This first phase of prepa­ ration in Morocco ended with an in­ ternal match full of intensity, marked by strong duels and excellent team spirit, showcasing the healthy com­ petition driving the group. Monday, July 20, 2026, was a rest day for the team.
