South West: DANIHF Marks Five Years of Humanitarian Service

Buea (Fako) - The Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foun­ dation (DANIHF) has celebrated its fifth anniversary. The ceremony in Buea on July 18, 2026 was an opportunity for officials to renew the organisation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable and un­ derprivileged communities. Founder of DANIHF, Ndong Elias-Ivo Wright, described the anniversary as the realisation of a lifelong dream. He said the foundation, established in 2020, has expanded its humanitarian activities beyond Cameroon to countries including Nigeria, Togo, France, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. To the President, Roger Kunyui Ngonmenyui, the foundation has made significant contributions in education, healthcare and com­ munity development over the past five years. Among its achieve­ ments are vocational training for single mothers and youths, the construction of sanitation facilities at an Islamic nursery and pri­ mary school in Nkwen, and the distribution of face masks and hand sanitisers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
