International Handicraft Exhibition: Special Guests Commend Organisation

T he ninth edition of the International Handicraft Exhibition of Cameroon (SIARC) is underway in Yaounde with several delegations attending in the capacity of guests of honour. The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday July 28, 2026 received them in au­ dience, comprising Côte d’Ivoire, Algeria and Organi­ zation for the Development and Promotion of African Han­ dicrafts (ODEPA). They all congratulated Cameroon for the organisation and were led to the Star Building by Minister of Small and Medium- sized Enterprises, Social Eco­ nomy and Handicraft, Achille Bassilekin III. For the Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Handicrafts of Côte d'Ivoire, Ibrahim Kalil Ko­ nate, they appreciate the in­ vitation and also took the op­ portunity to invite Cameroon to the African Craft Market edition which will take place in April 2027 in Côte d'Ivoire.
