Anglophone Crisis: Court Hearing For Clerics Postponed

A new date is still to be announced for the case filed by some parents against church leaders.

On the strength of an announcement made yesterday 19 April, 2017 by the registrar of the Bamenda Court of First Instance, the court session fixed for 21 April to hear Catholic and Cameroon Baptist Convention, CBC, Church leaders in connection with the Anglophone crisis will not hold due to the removal of the corps of late Magistrate Kilbat Noel from the Bamenda Regional Hospital mortuary on the same day. The announcement read in the St. Joseph’s metropolitan Cathedral yesterday 19 April advises litigants and interested parties to consult the notice board of the court for the next hearing date.
