Cameroon-Morocco Ties: Parties Exploit New Dynamics

D iplomatic relations between Cameroon and Morocco, which span for over six de­ cades have been appreciated by Jamoussi Abdelkader during an au­ dience granted by the Prime Mi­ nister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, yesterday July 28, 2026. On the menu for discussion was cooperation prospects in the economic, industry and energy sec­ tors were also examined. In the words of the Head of Mission, “We are at a moment where bila­ teral relations are mutual enough to move to new dynamics in order to reinforce cooperation at the level of the aspirations of the Mo­ roccan and Cameroonian people.” More importantly, the Prime Mi­ nister was briefed by the envisaged third session of the Joint Commis­ sion between the two parties sche­ duled to hold in Morocco later this year. Preparations, the Ambassador said, are already underway with a constant collaboration with the Mi­ nistry of External Relations.
