West: ADEBSAM Holds Annual General Assembly

Bafoussam (Mifi) - The Inspector Ge neral of Services in West Governor’s office, Patrick Suh Ndele, has told the people of Bafoussam, that development associations remain a driving force to growth. He said “Amicale pour le de veloppement economie-social et cul turel de Bafoussam” (ADEBSAM), must be restored to its role of underpinning development, as to safeguard sustai nable development of their village. Patrick Suh Ndele was speaking in Ba foussam on 8, August,2026, while clo sing the annual general assembly of the Bafoussam socio-economic and cultural development association, known by its French acronyms as “ADEBSAM”. He noted that Bafoussam has tremendous economic and cultural riches that if well exploited could en hance their development, that consti tutes a source of wealth and employ ment for all groups in the society, ad ding that they need to strengthen their development strategies and po licies. “Priority to development must be adopted for your wellbeing”, he concluded. Earlier, the paramount ruler of Bafous sam, His Majesty, Njitack Ngompe Pele, called on elite who have turned their backs against their village, choosing social media as a tool to cause disorder and bring deterioration to reintegrate and rebuild Bafoussam. Chief Njitack said developing Bafoussam village, strengthening its institutions, providing the necessary amenities, is the integral responsibility of the elite.
