2026 Women’s Champions League Qualifiers: Lekié Makes Final Touches

The Cameroonian representative is concluding preparations for the UNIFFAC qualifiers, which begin on Saturday, August 29, 2026 in Yaounde.

T he Central African Football Federations’ Union better known its French acronym UNIFFAC qualifiers for the 2026 Women’s Champions League will run from Saturday August 29 to September 4, 2026 at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium. Lekié FC, 2025 champions of Ca­ meroon’s women’s division one championship dubbed the Guin­ ness Super League, will repre­ sent the nation. Coach Stéphane Ndzana and his players, well aware of what’s at stake, have been making the necessary final preparations. Fresh from winning the 2026 Cameroon Women’s Cup, the club is determined to carry that form into the quali­ fiers. Till date, no Cameroonian club has progressed beyond the UNIFFAC zonal stage to reach the final tournament of the CAF Wo­ men’s Champions League.
