Open Dreams Graduate Summit 2026: Opportunities To Excel

The two-day event that ended on August 29, 2026 in Yaounde, gave graduates the opportunity to explore international scholarships, leadership and pathways to global education.

T he Open Dreams Graduate Summit 2026 has underscored the need for Cameroonians to prepare for global academic oppor­ tunities while returning home to contribute to national development, under the theme, “Go Further, Give Back.” Held in Yaounde on August 28 and 29, the summit also addres­ sed the current temporary break in UK student applications, with parti­ cipants informed that efforts are underway to restore access within the coming months. The event pro­ vided participants with practical in­ formation on international scholar­ ships, personal branding and lea­ dership. Facilitators encouraged par­ ticipants to identify opportunities early, strengthen their profiles and prepare strategically for applications.
