Bamenda: Major General Sali Mohamadou Galvanizes Troops

He paid a three-day visit to Army Units of the 6th Military Sector from September 7-8, 2026.

S oldiers of the sixth Military Sector that is the North West Region are expected to be more performing following the gal­ vanizing visit of the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Sali Mohamadou in Bamenda from September 7-8, 2028. The visit that was partly characte­ rised by indoor working sessions with the top officials of the 6th Military Sector was aimed at gal­ vanizing the troops of the army corps in order to enable them stay up to date with the Republican spirit of respect for State institutions within the 6th Military Sector, its Commander Colonel Nche Nsoh told the press in a short briefing. He said the mission of the army must be done in hard work and disci­ pline. The General and members of his delegation also carried visits to army units of the 6th Military Sector as he also set out to see the state of infrastructure and how improve­ ments could be done on them in future. For instance, at the Com­ mand Post of the 5th Joint Military Region, Major General Sali Moha­ madou was shown round the site of the ongoing construction of a dormitory to accommodate soldiers.
