T he timeless maxim “looking good is good busi­ ness” has been a lifelong philosophy for the Yaounde-based couturier, Ngoumje Tono Louise. Driven by an innate eye for aesthetics, she travelled to France in the early 1980s to master the meticulous art of fashion design and classical couture through a formal Bachelor of Arts degree. “My genuine passion to help people look confident and feel their best fuelled my lust for fashion entrepreneurship,” she told CT.
