Some clubs are engaging in strategic partnerships, securing their licenses, and preparing for general assemblies; where budgets will be adopted and clear season objectives set.

D ynamo Club of Douala, of the MTN Elite One championship, has an­ nounced an Ordinary General Assembly scheduled for 25 September 2026. The convo­ cation document is explicit about the agenda, notably; approval of the balance sheet and adoption of the 2025– 2026 accounts, adoption of the 2026–2027 budget, and preparations for the new sea­ son. Dynamo is not alone. Other Elite One clubs have similar assemblies on their calendars, recognizing that training camps and recruitment drives ultimately depend on sound management groundwork to guide the season. Discussions routinely focus on raising funds to run the campaign, with clubs relying on a mix of player sales, kit marketing, stadium revenues, and spon­ sorship deals to finance their operations. Beyond internal governance, clubs are actively securing strategic partnerships to strengthen their off-pitch foundations, and Dynamo is a prime example. Thanks to a recently signed partnership with the Africa Goool Academy based in Peru, Dynamo was able to recruit two 18-year- old Peruvian players, José Ma­ ría Rodríguez and Joseph Mon­ teza, ahead of the new sea­ son.
