Cameroon-USA: Health Cooperation Extended to Malaria

Prime Minister Philemon Yang on June 15, 2017 had talks with US health investors
The United States of America and Cameroon have once more deepened health cooperation with Cameroon being included in the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative Programme.
The U.S. Ambassador to Cameroon, Michael Stephen Hoza made the announcement in Yaounde on Thursday, June 15, 2017 as he accompanied a delegation of U.S. investors in the health sector to the Star Building for talks with Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang. The initiative was launched in 2005 by President George W. Bush and expanded under President Barack Obama. The U.S. President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) is a historic U.S. government effort to lead the fight against malaria.
The delegation of U.S. investors was led by Lance R. Brooks, Chief of Cooperation for Biological Engagement Programme in the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Speaking to the press after the talks, Ambassador Hoza said the delegation members also...
