Ebolowa-Lolodorf Road: Advocacy For Pavement

I ndeed, where a road passes, development fol­ lows. This is the phrase motivating elite of the South Region, who were re­ ceived in audience by the Prime Minister, Head of Go­ vernment, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday July 22, 2026. The objective of the visit, led by Hon. Jean-Jacques Zam, was to beseech government to pursue the tarring of the road Ebolow-Lolodorf, a 67 kilome­ tre stretch that links several communities. To the elite, tra­ velling on the road is challen­ ging and slow, especially du­ ring the rainy season. They therefore presented risks fac­ tors to the Prime Minister, praying for appropriate mea­ sures to be taken to facilitate movement along the stretch. According to them, tarring the road will boost economic ac­ tivities within the locality, considerably reduce vehicle wear and tear, lower transport costs, and cut travel times. In addition, agricultural and com­ munity development will be enhanced, rural communities will be connected to urban markets, minimise dust-related health issues, and guarantee overall road safety.
