Interview : “I Take Decisions In Favour Of The Players And Results”

You have very limited time on hand with two crucial games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June.  How do you intern to take up this challenge?
We have taken time to watch the players as well as analyse the matches of the Lions. We know the team. It is true that we do not have much time but we will use the little time we have well. We are lucky that we could call the players a little earlier. In about eight or seven days, we could work something out. But what is sure is that the time is short to put things in order tactically and the philosophy of play. We agreed to change things a little.

How do you plan to constitute a solid Cameroonian team that can bring success?
We continue scouting for players. Maybe, some players that were not selected in the past. We will equally watch some local matches. There are always some lost talents. It is our duty to detect and to see what they can achieve in a more solid group. We will greatly analyse the videos so that we have a better idea and view of the team. We will work in a good way.
