Indomitable Lions : Marc Brys Begins Scouting For Players

With the World Cup qualifiers fast approaching, the new head coach of the national team is in Europe for a prospection and contact tour.


Shortly after his appointment at the helm of the Indomitable Lions squad, Coach Marc Brys is in Europe to detect Cameroonian players playing abroad who can best defend the colours of the country in international competitions. The first stop of Marc Brys was in Germany on Friday April 19, 2024 where many Cameroonian footballers are plying their trade. Reports say four players caught the attention of the Belgian technician and his assistants during the 30th playing day of the Bundesliga, the German local championship. 
The head coach watched the victory of Eintracht Frankfurt over Ausgburg (3-1) and he was impressed with the performances of the Cameroonian players. Two Cameroonians distinguished themselves during the match. They are Ekitike who scored and Dina Ebimbe who gave an assist. A total of five Cameroonian players were supervised. They are Hugo Ekitike (centre forward), Jean Junior Dina Ebimbe (midfield), Jean Matteo Bahoba (left winger), Noël Futkeu (centre forward), Jérome Onguene (central defender) not on the start list. At the end of the match, the head coach of the Indomitable Lions had some discussions with Matthias Beck, president of winning club, Eintracht Frankfurt. 
For a second stop in his prospection tour of Cameroonian footballers in Europe, the new coach of the Indomitable Lions was in Nantes, France on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The Belgian technician and his assistants watched the match between FC Nantes and Rennes which counted for the 30th playing day of the Ligue 1...
