Bamenda: Distinctions For Excelling Youth

 North West Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique and elite watched youths celebrate the 52nd National youth day in Bamenda on February 11.

The singing of the national and youth Anthems by the University of Bamenda choir set the tone for the celebrations of the 52nd youth Day on February 11, 2018 at the Bamenda commercial Avenue grandstand. The event presided over by Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique featured elite amongst them SDF National Chairman Ni John Fru Ndi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bamenda Prof Theresa Nkuo Akenji.

The event was summed up in the replay of President Paul Biya's message to the youths, March past and above all recognition of youths who excel in academics, sports, agriculture and rural development, fashion design and a lot more.
In affect it was a trying moment for most youths who despite threats and boycott calls braved the odds to take part at the event at the Bamenda commercial Avenue grandstand.
