Mission To Get Professional Footballers Released

The mission led by Fecafoot president is out to negotiate the availability of the key players in view of the upcoming tourney.

 

A delegation led by the president of Fecafoot has left for Europe to negotiate the release of some key players of the national female football selection. The mission will take the Fecafoot delegation to Sweden where they will try to negotiate the release of the 2015 African female football of the year, Gaelle Enganamouit as well as to Russia to lobby for the release of Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene.

Cameroon will also be wooing professionals like Avine Njolle of FC Minsk in Belorussia, Marie Aurele Awana of Soyau-France, Luce Ndolo Ewele of Guingamp, Falone Meffometou and Yvonne Leuko of FC Arras. They would also be canvassing for the world cup heroines like Ngock Yango who plays for Brest, Agathe Ngani and Catherine Bengono of Lorient and Michele Ngono Mani of FC Aurillac.

It is going to be a difficult mission for Fecafoot given that Fifa does not recognize the Women AFCON and as such clubs are not obliged to release players for the tournament. More so, most of the players play a key role in their respective clubs such as Gaelle Enganamouit who was highest goal scorer in the Swedish championship with her club side Rosengard and Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene who was champion of Russia with Rossikyanka.
