Mefou-et-Akono: CPDM Gets More Potential Voters

Some youths decamped from the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) and joined the ruling party as Gaston Eloundou Essomba led campaigns in the area on September 29.

The Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) section of Akono II in the Mefou & Akono Division on September 29 witnessed an increase in the number of party members who will cast their vote on October 7 in favour of President Paul Biya.

This was during a campaign rally led by Minister Gaston Eloundou Essomba who is Campaign Coordinator of the area. He was accompanied by Minister Marie Therese Ondoa, who is Vice Campaign Coordinator. 

The rally which equally witnessed the installation of members of the different teams to spearhead the door-todoor campaign strategy had the primary objective of seducing more potential voters to the camp of the CPDM, a mission which according to Minister Gaston Eloundou Essomba was successful given the number of youths who left the CRM for the CPDM.
