WCPDM Wouri I Prays For President Biya

They organised an ecumenical service at the party house in Douala yesterday.

The WCPDM Wouri I section under the leadership of senator Armande Din Bell organised an ecumenical service at the party house in BonanjoDouala on Sunday, to thank God for Biya’s victory in the October 7 presidential poll and implore His grace and blessings for the new mandate. Under the watchful eye of Laurent Esso, Minister of State, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, equally present as permanent coordinator of CPDM activities in Littoral. The service was conducted by a total of 15 clergy men drawn from the Muslim faith, Roman Catholic, protestant and Pentecostal churches. In their homilies, each religious leader hammered on the need of living together in peace and love for one another and country. They prayed for God to grant President Biya long life and wisdom in conducting the affairs of the nation. They said all power comes from God and it is the duty of God-fearing people to always pray for their leaders. The initiator of the event, Senator Armande Din Bell congratulated President Paul Biya for his victory citing the construction of the second bridge over the Wouri, the Kribi port, the Yaounde –Douala autoroute, Mekin and Memve’ele damps as some of the achievements that contributed to his victory. She said President Biya still has much to offer Cameroonians and urged compatriots to shun disinformation, division and destruction.
