Four recently appointed staff of the General Secretariat of the National Assembly have been commissioned into their functions, with a call for them to be assiduous, loyal and show respect for hierarchy. While Commissioning Mireille Mougnol Mekeng as the Director of General Administration, Oumarou Djoubeirou as Sub-director in charge of Salaries and Pensions, Gérard Ekono as Chief of Service for Salaries and Oumate Djintal as Research Officer in the Department of Legislation and Linguistic Affairs, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Victor Yene Ossomba said their appointment is a mark of confidence by the hierarchy.
The newly promoted staff thus needs to be more hardworking, punctual, and respect hierarchy. He also stressed on the need for discipline and a sense of patriotism not only for the newly appointed personnel but to the entire staff of the National Assembly. While appreciating the efforts of their predecessors, Victor Yene Ossomba reminded them that the change are meant to redynamise the functioning of the services and should not be misinterpreted as sanctions.
