ANDP : Party Embarks On Social Actions

Party officials of the National Alliance for Democracy and Progress (ANDP) are currently embarking on their social and humanitarian actions in the East Region. Led by Senator Marlyse Aboui, they are donating educational materials to the less privileged within the framework of facilitating their academic career. She added that gifts are given and a common meal shared with some members of the community on national or international days that celebrate the girl child, women, the physically challenged or humanity as a whole. Senator Marlyse further stated that they visit prisons and commune with inmates when need be. The ANDP Senator noted that the National President of the party has been distributing gifts to some Muslim faithful within this fasting period of Ramadan. She further revealed that on May 15, 2021, she will visit and offer some educational materials to some primary and secondary schools in the Belabou subdivision of Lom-et-Njerem division in the East Region. 
Going by the electoral calendar, there are no major elections previewed before 2025, except otherwise. The Senator however states that elections are not prepared on the eve, reason the ANDP is carrying out voter’s registration campaigns in the East Region, edifying the population especially those of voting age on the importance of participating in an electoral process. Democracy, she said, is the collective involvement of every citizen in choosing their leader(s) through the ballot box, and therefore the process should not be neglected.
