Diane Nguekwain Yimga : Skilful Shooter

The Cameroonian-born international handball player who plays for Congo has great ambitions and is a force to reckon with.

If Congo has any player to be proud of it is Diane Nguekwain Yimga. The 29-year-old left back is the pivot of the Congolese team in the ongoing Senior Women’s Africa Handball Cup of Nations. She helped her team qualify for the semi-final stage of the competition through her exceptional talents. Congo edged Senegal 21-20 to qualify. They did not only qualify for the semi-finals but they equally grabbed a ticket for the World Cup. The Cameroonian- born handball star won the trophy for the best player in the match through her performance.
