CAF Women’s Champions League : Louves Minproff Out

The 2020 champions of Cameroon were booted out of the qualifiers after they lost to Malabo King of Equatorial Guinea (0-1) on Sunday August 15, in Malabo.

Louves Minproff’s dream of qualifying for the CAF Women’s Champions League has been dashed. The 2020 champions of Cameroon were booted out of the UNIFFAC qualifying tournament competition after they lost to Malabo King of Equatorial Guinea 0-1 on Sunday August 15, 2021 in the return leg qualifier at the Estadio de Malabo. The ladies of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family were faced with a strong and well trained team. During the away leg, Malabo King overpowered Louves Minproff 3-0 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde. Bella Rose scored a brace and Grace Balongo Mfwambo scored the third goal that secured the precious victory for Malabo King. In Sunday’s second leg in Malabo, Drepoba Stéphanie’s scored the lone goal for the team ten minutes from time to secure the victory and at the same time qualify for the final round of the qualifiers.
