U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers : Lionesses Begin Training For Round Three

Some 30 players are expected to take part in the exercise that begins today October 8, 2021 at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon will face the Panthers of Gabon in December in the third round double encounter for the 2022FIFA Women’s World Cup in Coasta Rica. Ahead of the two matches the 30 players called to camp by the lead coach Mike Ndoumou will open camp today Monday November 8, 2021. The training session will take at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo near Yaounde. The players are expected to assemble at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) today before heading for Mbankomo. During the training session Coach Ndoumou Mike and the players will be working out winning strategies in order to secure a ticket for the World Cup. 
Among the players called to camp is the best goalkeeper in the Super League Michaely Bihina as well as the best player for 2021, Fatima Kome. Fatima Kome was equally called up in the women’s national team in the match against the Central African Republic. She is among the best scorers in the women’s football league. Also, there is Alice Flora Kameni and Brenda Tabe who through their performances have won the confidence of the coach.
