Garoua : Serenity As Teams Strategise

After Tuesday’s group D opening matches, all the four teams have gone back to the drawing board with diverse notes to analyse.

A few hours after day one matches of group D at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua, there is total calm at the hide-out of the four teams. At the Relais Saint Hubert Hotel where the Pharaohs are lodged, the festive mode on the faces of the Egyptians since their arrival has given way to sadness. During the after match training session yesterday at the CENAJES sports ground, not all the players were present. Egyptian head coach, Carlos Queiros rested a greater part of the players who took part in the encounter against Nigeria. Thus, only about fifteen players were present at the training session whose emphasis was on ball possession and tactical positioning.
