2022 Cycling Season: Tella Artuce Wins Opening Race

He won the 82km race between Nomayos and Akono to and fro in 2h12’03” on Sunday February 13, 2022.

The 2022 Cycling season in Cameroon has officially kicked off with an 82 km inaugural race from Nomayos to Akono and from Akono to Nomayos. Tella Artuce will be remembered this season as the one who won this opening race. The cyclist from SNH Vélo Club won the race in 2h12’03” thanks to his level of experience and his capability to chip in winning technics. He was closely followed by Kuere Nounawé (second) and Chofor Fabrice (third), all from SNH Velo Club. Talking after winning the first position, Tella Astuce said he was extremely satisfied and honoured to be the winner of the opening of the race. He however admitted that it was not an easy race but he succeeded to surmount the challenges. Tella equally pledged to work harder for future races. Another performance which is worth congratulating is that of the young Fabrice Chofor of SNH Vélo club who won the third position. The cyclist is just making his first steps in the senior category.
