Buea : CBC Health Service Donates To NASLA

The two institutions signed a three-year Memorandum Of Understanding aimed at facilitating the teaching and learning process of those who are physically challenged in NASLA.

The Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health Service has donated equipment to facilitate the teaching and learning process of the physically challenged students and lecturers of the National School of Local Administration (NASLA), Buea. The event on March 4, 2022, on the campus of NASLA saw the donation of gifts to the institution which are an Everest-DV5 Braille embosser and an Evarest Acoustic Hood. Prof. Tih Pius Muffih, CBC’s Director of Health Service, said the Embosser is the most versatile Braille in the market that is capable of embossing braille in any format on cut-sheet paper. The braille is compatible with mainstream technology and can emboss 400 A4 pages per hour. It has an automatic booklet form printing process and a high resolution for tactile graphics with horizontal plus a vertical printing options amongst other qualities, the Director explained. 
CBC Health Service and NASLA further penned a three-year Memorandum Of Understanding wherein Prof. Tih Pius Muffih signed on behalf of CBC Health Service while Tanyitiku Bayee signed for NASLA.
