CPDM At 37 : Grandiose Celebration

Militants of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) both at home and in the diaspora celebrated the 37th anniversary of the party.

There was hustling and bustling across the national territory and in the diaspora as militants of the Cameroon’s ruling party, Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) celebrated the 37th anniversary of the party. The celebration was on the theme, “Let us mobilise more behind the National President, President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul Biya , in order to ensure the specificity of our country in the relentless peace building, unity, solidarity  and progress in a Cameroon nation resolutely turned towards shared emergence.”
The organisation of the celebrations followed the directives of the Secretary General of the CPDM Central Committee, Jean Nkuete who in circular letter of March 15, 2022 said, “All the Presidents of the CPDM Section executives, in synergy with the all the Presidents of the WCPDM and YCPDM Section executives, shall organise the 37th anniversary of the party in their respective political units, in a concerted approach of gathering, unity, pedagogy and sharing.” The celebration in each political unit was under the supervision of the Head of the Regional Permanent Delegation of the Central Committee and management of the Head of the Divisional Permanent Delegations of the Central Committee.
The fanfare and pump that characterised the celebration stemmed from the fact that it came after a break for some years caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It also came after the renewal of the executives of the basic organs of the CPDM during which it was invigorated and rejuvenated.
