Eding Sport FC Stretches Lead

Eding Sport of Lekie  have extended their dominance in Group B to 15 points. This follows the fifth day of play of Elite 1 Championship where Eding Club de Yaounde overpowered Dragon FC at the Bota Middle Fams Stadium in Limbe by two goals to zero to clinch top spot. Jean Emmanuel Chamdjou opened score at the 11 minutes following a tussle in the ring. Then at the verge of half time, Eding centre forward Abdel Pascal Mefira doubled the lead after receiving a cross before sending the ball pass Dragon’s goalkeeper. Harrison Djonkep could have made it three for his side at the 88th minute but he fired wide from an empty net.
Dragon FC made several attempts to come back but the traffic flow remained on their side though they improved in the second half. They had a goal disallowed which flared tempers of some of their management staff who were seated on the stand. The lost for Dragon leaves them on the sixth position with six points.
