With audacity, determination, bravery and combativeness, you successfully defeated the Teranga Lions of Senegal, thus earning, after this hard-fought battle, your sport in the semi-final of the 31st edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
This brilliant victory is a reflection of your spirit of patriotism, solidarity, combativeness and sacrifice, as well as your sense of discipline and selflessness, which are key to the “fighting spirit” of the indomitable Lions, DNA of the National Football Team.
Through my voice, the Upper House of Parliament extends its warm and sincere congratulations.
Dearest Valliant Indomitable Lions,
We stand with you wholeheartedly. Our encouragements as well as our affectionate and patriotic sentiments will accompany you for a successful continuation for qualification to the final of the AFCON 2017, where the Senate shall be present by your side in Libreville next February 5, to support you and encourage you to the final victory.
I encourage you to preserve and display the same determination, so that our national flag, symbol of our national unity which is so dear to Cameroonians, should continue flying very high.
