Yaounde and Paris have age-old ties that continue to be strengthened.

Bilateral relations between Cameroon and France are historic and span across several domains including diplomacy, security, health, education, culture, economic and finance. In addition, he announced that an envelope of FCFA 30 billion will be devoted to the development of the Far North Region.
