CHAN 2023 : Intermediate Lions Continue Training

The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon are in camp at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo where they are fine-tuning their skills ahead of the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN 2022) that will take place in Algeria next month. To ensure the best results in the competition, the Lions have begun their training with friendly matches. For the first evaluation match, the Intermediate Lions beat Canon Sportif of Yaounde 2-1 at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo Wednesday December 21, 2022. The goals of the Intermediate Lions were scored by Harisson Ford Djonkep and Mbah Louis. Canon’s goal was scored by Emmanuel Mahop. 
The friendly encounter was an opportunity for Coach Saidou Alioum to evaluate his players as they prepare for the task ahead. The Intermediate Lions began training in Mbankomo on December 12, 2022. After Wednesday’s encounter, the players are working hard to improve on their skills. Training takes place twice daily at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo.
