Chan 2022 : Intermediate Lions Continue Training

The team resumed preparations at the Miloud-Hadefi Annex Stadium in Oran yesterday January 17, 2023 after their first victory against Congo.

Shortly after their 1-0 win over the Red Devils of Congo at the ongoing TotalEnergies African Nations Championship in Algeria, the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon have gone back to training. The Lions emerged winner as they once more proved their supremacy in the sport. Cameroon’s victory over Congo was the lone victory of the day in group E after Angola drew 3-3 with Mali in the first game. For the technical staff of the Intermediate Lions, Monday’s victory is no reason to relent but rather a booster to work harder. As a result, the team began training yesterday January 17, 2023 at the Annex Stadium of the Miloud-Hadefi Stadium in Oran. The players are training intensively under the supervision of Coach Alioum Saidou. It is time for the coach and the technical staff to correct the errors of the first match in order to produce better results in the second game. The objective for now is to reach the knockout stage of the competition. For Coach Alioum Saidou, the players have no choice but to produce the best results. 
From last Monday’s victory, the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon have achieved the essential by winning their first match in the group stage. Jerome Ngom saved Cameroon by scoring the lone goal for the team at the 63rd minute heading home a cross from Ramses Donfack to secure all the three points of the day for Cameroon.
