Mochiggle Vanigangsen : Visionary Politician

Approachable and understanding are two outstanding qualities Senator Mochiggle Vanigangsen of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) has. He is an incumbent Senator who got into the Senate in 2018 when the party won the seven seats of the North West region. The visionary politician notes his ambition, if voted again for another five-year mandate, will principally be to advocate that Councillors be paid a reasonable stipend, and Council sessions be increased so as to ascertain effective local governance. He adds that he will intensify his sensitisation of fighting against human rights abuse and corruption in the region, especially within decentralised regional and local institutions. Senator Mochiggle further notes that he will continue contributing in peace talks as well as playing an advisory role to the government and other stakeholders on how sustainable peace can be consolidated in the North West Region.
