CAF Champions League : Coton Sport In Cairo

The Cameroonian representative left Douala yesterday February 28, 2023 to prepare for their third group game against Egyptian side, Al Ahly.

After two successive home defeats, Coton Sport of Garoua, Cameroon’s representative at the CAF Champions League are optimistic for glorious days in the ongoing group phase of the competition. Pooled in Group B, the Garoua-based club plays Al Ahly of Egypt on Saturday February 4, 2023 to catch up the first playing day. It is to get settled and acquainted with the climatic condition as well as make last minute polish up that the Cotonites left for Cairo, Egypt yesterday February 28, 2023.  
Mohamadou Kaou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Staff Union of SODECOTON, is at the head of a strong Cameroonian delegation of 33 persons. The delegation is made up of 22 players and 11 supervisors and administrators. This is thus the ambassadors that will be leaving no stone unturned in Cairo and will want to take the winning way despite the absence of home advantage.
To achieve this, the club will have to analyse the play style of the Egyptian opponent and know exactly where they have to emphasise on during their trainings.
