Friendly Matches : U-23 Lionesses In Morocco

The team arrived the country on April 3, 2023 ahead of a double-header against the U-23 Moroccan team on April 6 and 9, 2023.

Out of the 25 U-23 Lionesses called up to prepare for the double-header friendly against Morocco, 22 local players were retained for the expedition. The team headed by Coach Ndoumou Mike arrived Morocco on April 3, 2023 after close to one-week of preparation at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza. The team had a first training session on same April 3, 2023 evening and the programme of yesterday April 4, 2023 provided for two training sessions. 
It should be said that the list drawn up for this camp, is seemingly a subset of the U-20 Lionesses called to prepare for the African Games. As for who is in the squad, Coach Ndoumou Mike initially called up four players in the goalkeeping compartment but later on dropped goalkeeper Chantal Ngah. Nonetheless, the young Indomitable Lioness, Cathy Biya of Éclair Football Filles is leading the park. In the defence, seven out of the eight players selected in this compartment were retained. Awa’s Clarisse Abumba II was left out but the team can count on the likes of Eclair’s duo; Bernadette Mbele Ngaseh and Marie Victoire Ngono.
