Playoffs Match Day One : Organising Committee Draws First Lessons

Exchanging with pressmen last Monday evening, Ernest Obama, FECAFOOT President’s spokesperson and Faustin Mbida, CTFP SG announced changes for the remaining match days.


If the first playing day of the 2022-2023 Elite One Playoffs on Sunday May 14, 2023, is seen as a success to many, the organising committee still think they can do better for the remaining two match days coming up on Thursday and Sunday for the grand finale.
In a press conference organised in the conference room of the Douala Reunification stadium last Monday evening, Ernest Obama, spokesperson of the FECAFOOT President, and Blaise Faustin Mbida, Secretary General of CTFP made an appraisal on positives that can be better, lapses that should be corrected and gave some announcements.
New Badges For Journalists
The Secretary General of CTFP noted with displeasure that there was a lot of rowdiness in the press stand and during post-match interviews on the side-lines of the pitch. Journalists and members of the organising committees mixed up. As a result of that, Faustin Mbida announced that new badges will be made for journalists. Strict measures will be taken for pressmen to access specific areas of the field.    
Play Down Scheduled For Friday
