National Elite Handball Championship : Quarterfinalists Known

The teams that will play the quarterfinals of the National Elite Handball Championship are now known. This is the outcome of the eighth final matches that took place in the country last weekend. The competition was stiff as each side was seeking for a ticket to the quarterfinal stage of the competition. In the women’s competition, YUC Yaounde lost to TKC of Yaounde 40-21 at the Madagascar Stadium in Yaounde. Still in Yaounde, Dynamique lost to Divas of Bafoussam 33-26 and FANZ Yaounde beat FAP Yaounde 32-28. 
In the men’s category, Spartiates beat Dreams sports Academy 37-33 Friendship Yaounde beat DUC of Dschang 33-26 and FAP Yaounde beat FANZ 28-18. The eighth final match between Dreams sports Academy and FANZ Handball Club of Yaounde did not hold. The two teams refused to play because the license of one of the players was not acceptable.
