2023 National Interpools : Semi-finalists Known

Pouma FC, the representative of the Littoral Region finished second in Group B after beating Krimi FC 2-1 yesterday to join Bafmeng United, Volcan FC and ISOHSA in the last four.


The group phase of the ongoing 2023 National Interpools is over and the list of teams that will take part in the semi-finals have been completed. The representative of the Littoral Region, Pouma FC concluded the list yesterday July 24, 2023 after beating Krimi FC 2-1 on match day five in Group B of the competition. Pouma thus joins, Isle of Hope Sports Academy, Volcan of Noun and Bafmeng United in semi-finals.
Yesterday was a highly decisive one in Group B given that there was only one spot to grab after Bafmeng United had already consolidated their position as leaders. Olympique of Biwong-Bane and Pouma FC with four points each had better chances of grabbing the last spot. Pouma FC played Krimi FC at the Annex B stadium and victory was all they wanted. They finally got a 2-1 win but the fear and tension was not over. Nonetheless, the win meant that they had climbed to the second position in Group B with seven points and to be safe, Olympique of Biwong-Bane (OBB) had to either draw or lose their game against Ngaoundere FC. 
Fortunately for the Pouma boys, Ngaoundere FC held Olympique of Biwong-Bane to a 1-1 tie. This meant that OBB could only manage a point to sit on the third position with five points. While Pouma FC are celebrating their con...
