Chantal Biya International Cycling Race : Competition Dates Unveiled

The dates and stage venues of the 23rd edition of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Race will take place from October 3 to 6, 2023. The information was made public on Thursday, August 24, 2023 by officials of the Cameroon Cycling Federation (FECACYLISME). According to information from FECACYCLISME the competition will bring together 60 cyclists. The competition will be launched in Kribi in the Ocean Division with the presentation of teams on October 2, 2023. It will be the first time the competition is launched in Kribi. The first lap will be a closed circuit race in Kribi on October 3, 2023. The second lap will unfold from Yaounde to Nkoteng in the Centre Region on October 4, 2023.  The third lap will run from Yaounde to Ebolowa-Nkolandom on October 5, 2023. The fourth and the fifth lap will continue from Ebolowa-Mengong-Sangmelima on October 6, 2023. The fifth and final lap of the ChantalBiya International Cycling Race will take place from Sangmelima to the Avebe Round About via Mvomeka and Meyomesala.  
The competition will be an opportunity to attract visitors. A total of ten teams; six from Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Rwanda, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina-Faso, Gabon), two from Europe (Club de la Défense from France and Banska Bystrica from Slovakia) and two teams from Cameroon (the Cameroon national team and SNH Vélo club) will be invited to the competition for a total of 60 riders at the start of the event.
