South West : NASLA Trainees End Military Course

It rounded off at the Mutengene Police College last 16 November with students awarded certificates.

Some 406 trainees of cycles A and B of the Buea-based National School for Local Administration (NASLA) have capped their military training at the Police College in Mutengene, Tiko Sub-Division of Fako Division in the South West Region.  The 30-day military training ended last 16 November, 2023 with the award of certificates to the laureates who scored the average mark result of 12 on 20. The Deputy Director General of NASLA, Mrs. Ongolo Nyanguida Lidwine, chaired the end-of-course ceremony.
Mrs. Ongolo Nyanguida expressed delight to see NASLA students marvellously transformed by the Police School in discipline, maintenance of order, civic education, patriotism, physical education, weaponry, ethics, deontology, respect of institutions and hierarchy. She opined that the training was an accomplishment for NASLA which is the bedrock of decentralisation in Cameroon. She expressed gratitude to the Delegate General for National Security who permitted the training and thanked the State for providing the means to enable the military training for NASLA students.
