Indomitable Lions : Preparation Kick Off In Jeddah

The Cameroonian team had their first training session on January 1, 2024 as the players progressively arrive camp.


Clinching a sixth crown in the TotalEnergies 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire is top priority to Rigobert Song and the entire Cameroonian team. Reason why they are preparing properly to prevent poor performance. The Lions effectively kicked off their preparations for the continental showpiece on January 1, 2024 and had their first training session in one of the training grounds of the King Abdallah stadium. Eight players took part in the training session which lasted 90 minutes. They include; Fabrice Ondoa, Faris Pemi Moumbagna, Léonel Christian Ateba, Wilfried Nathan Douala, Malcolm Bokele, Simon Ngapandouetnbu, Darlin Yongwa and Enzo Tchato. It was announced that 10 other players were expected to join the camp yesterday January 2, 2024. They include; Georges Kevin Nkoudou, Oumar Gonzalez, Devis Epassy, Harold Moukoudi, Jean Charles Castelletto, Christopher Wooh, Clinton Njie, Olivier Kemen, Yvan Neyou and Nouhou Tolo. With a majority of the team, Head Coach Rigobert Song could begin implementing the strategy that he hopes will bring glory to Cameroon in the AFCON.
