South-West: Muock Leteh Village Talk Dev’t

Wabane (Lebialem) - The people of Mmuock Leteh village in Wabane subdivision, in Lebialem Division of the Southwest Region, have taken a strong commitment to promote sustainable development, achieve economic growth and eradicate poverty, in order to better the social wellbeing of the population of Mmuock Leteh village. This was one of the resolutions agreed on during the Mmuock Leteh cultural and Development Association (MULCUDA) annual congress, that held in the village from April 12 to15,2026, under the leadership of His majesty, Chief Fotang IV, paramount ruler of Mmuock Leteh. Holding under the theme, “Giving back home, to build a better future”, the elites saw their coming together as a way to earmark a development plan and raise funds for the development of the village. Addressing the population at both opening and closing ceremony, the national president of MULCUDA, Apebeloi Mbape, thanked the elites of Mmuock Leteh village for their endeavors to meet certain commitments, towards their self-reliant development projects, amongst them, providing portable drinking water for the benefit of the villagers, construction of a multipurpose sports complex under progress and a plan to launch Mmuock Leteh community Radio, that will act as a vehicle for cultural assimilation and transmission and also help disseminate information and know...
