Cameroonian Players in Clubs: Pre-season Preps On

A s the 2026 FIFA World Cup draws to an end, se­ veral football clubs abroad have already returned to training fields with available players ahead of the upcoming season. This is the case at Manchester United, where Cameroon’s prolific forward Bryan Mbeumo is plying his trade. Mbeumo, alongside se­ veral other players at the club, be­ gan pre-season training on July 9, 2026. According to a video posted by the club, the Cameroonian for­ ward arrived camp looking fresh and ready, having evidently en­ joyed some rest, since Cameroon did not participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Manchester United will play a friendly against Wrexham in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, on Saturday, July 18. Christian Kofane is also back to Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. The club was very pleased to have Cameroon’s Kofane back, making several posts about the player on social media.
