South West: Ikiliwindi Population Gets Potable Water

Konye (Meme) - The population of Ikiliwindi, Konye Subdivision of Meme Division, have expressed gra­ titude to the humanitarian, Rev. Dr John Ngoh, who has donated a 50- meter-deep ultramodern, solar-po­ wered borehole to the community. The inauguration ceremony took place on, June 2026 at Ikiliwindi, a small locality in Meme Division which has faced serious water crisis for decades. The initiator of the project, Ambas­ sador Rev. Dr Ngoh, during his ad­ dress thanked the population for their willingness to embrace and ac­ tively participate in local develop­ ment. He divulged the project was placed under the banner of Missions for Christ International Ministries, Limbe and is aimed at impacting lives through sustainable commu­ nity development via the provision of potable water. He went further to reveal the donation was in line with the Head of State, President Paul Biya's vision of empowering com­ munities to propel Cameroon to a new era of emergence. “This is more than infrastructure. It is an investment in public health, human dignity, and sustainable de­ velopment. As a son of Mambanda, Kumba III Subdivision, I have deci­ ded to give back to my community.
