AFCON 2016: PM Expresses Complete Satisfaction With AFCON Projects

After visiting infrastructure in Buea and LimbeMr Philemon Yang announced the coming of CAFs last inspection team by October end.

 

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang, has expressed complete satisfaction with the female AFCON infrastructure in Buea and Limbe. He made the declaration yesterday at the LimbeOmnisports facilities after inspecting hotel, sports and road infrastructure meant to facilitate the event billed from next 19 November to 3 December in Yaounde and Limbe.

The PM who arrived in Buea by 9 am, 24 October, quickly opened his inspection with a briefing at Mountain Hotel and proceeded to visit the same hotel under renovation and extension. Equally, the PM insisted on visiting all stages of works at the Parliamentarian Flats, the Buea Town Stadium, the Molyko Stadium, and the 95 percent finished road linking Bojongo to LimbeOmnisports stadium under construction.

While in Limbe the Head of Government made rounds at the Atlantic Beach Hotel, Centenary Stadium, Middle Farm Stadium and the Municipal Stadium. The PMs happiness could be seen from the kick of the ball he made at the Molyko Stadium on a green turf being carefully maintained for training during the competition. To crown his visit, Mr. Philemon Yang addressed all contractors involved with works at the Limbeomnisports stadium hall and called on the General Managers of the various companies to remain in the South West Region until the final touches of all the works. He urged all those involved with the works to keep to CAFs specifications, consider security and the quality of material being used.
