National Football Academy: Journalists Learn New Techniques

Football is universal. In order to meet with the norms of the International Football federation (FIFA), there is an urgent need to train actors in the sector. It is in this light that a workshop to train journalists, media officers, team press officers and communication officers in football training centres and football clubs opened in Yaounde on Tuesday September 18, 2018.

Organised by the National Football Academy (ANAFOOT), the workshop brings together participants from across the country. Speaking at the opening, the General Manager of ANAFOOT, Carl Enow Ngachu said football is a world link and because of that it is the wish of ANAFOOT to ensure that Journalists and communications officers handle properly communication aspects of their respective clubs and teams before, during and after a football match.
